Pastoral Work

At College De La Salle, we believe in nurturing not only the academic growth of our students but also their spiritual and moral development. Our pastoral work is integral to our mission of providing a holistic education grounded in the Lasallian values of faith, community, and service.

1. Christian Education Committee

The Christian Education Committee plays a vital role in shaping the spiritual curriculum of the school. Through organized activities, retreats, and discussions, we encourage our students to deepen their faith and understanding of Christian teachings. The committee works to integrate spiritual development into daily life, fostering a supportive environment where students can explore their beliefs.

2. Lasallian Formation Committee

The Lasallian Formation Committee is dedicated to ensuring that both students and staff embody the values of St. John Baptist de La Salle. This committee provides opportunities for personal and professional development through workshops, seminars, and spiritual retreats. By engaging with the Lasallian heritage, we instill a sense of purpose and commitment to service in our community.

3. Volunteer Work

Service is at the heart of our pastoral work. Students are encouraged to participate in various volunteer activities throughout the year. From local community service projects to international outreach programs, our students develop empathy and a sense of responsibility toward others. These experiences are crucial in shaping compassionate individuals who are aware of the needs of their communities.

4. Scouting

Our scouting program offers students unique opportunities to develop leadership skills, teamwork, and a sense of adventure. Through scouting, students engage in outdoor activities and community service while learning valuable life skills. This program fosters personal growth and encourages a spirit of camaraderie among peers.

5. Choirs

Music is a powerful expression of faith and community. Our choirs provide students with a platform to explore their musical talents while enhancing the spiritual life of the school. Through singing and participation in liturgical celebrations, students develop a sense of belonging and connection to their faith.

6. Signum Fidei

The Signum Fidei (Sign of Faith) program emphasizes the importance of faith in our daily lives. Through various activities and reflections, students are encouraged to live out their faith actively and share it with others. This program aims to create a supportive environment where students can grow spiritually and emotionally.
